Campi boats are marketed as recreational craft, with propulsion options available on selected models. They can offer a flexible alternative to a permanently static floating home, subject to the vessel’s actual specification and operating conditions.
Recreational registration does not automatically authorise permanent residential use or exempt a boat from marina rules, navigation requirements, safety obligations or local planning restrictions. Mooring, overnight stays and residential use depend on the location and relevant permissions.
